The Poppy Factory

The Poppy Factory

Among my earliest memories are bombs, rats in the air raid shelter, WWI servicemen, and the Poppy Factory. Until recently I thought the latter as much a myth as our family Homemade Cake Factory. Bully Free

“You don’t need to be afraid of those boys, little girl!”, the kind gentleman said to me as he reached to squeeze my shoulder. But I was afraid. In fact, I was absolutely terrified. When I was only 6, “Jimmy” was my nemesis. My halcyon days in glorious James Bay were rudely interrupted by this

The Myth of Aging

We are what we believe! I just turned sixty-three and if I believed what I read in magazines and the news about getting older, I would stop making plans, start knitting doilies and sadly await the setting sun. All the medical experts tell me that it is all downhill now as my body and mind
