Candy Cane Lane Returns to the Saanich Fairgrounds

Candy Cane Lane returns to the Saanich Fairgrounds on November 21 and 22, bringing together more than 150 local vendors, festive entertainment, food trucks and holiday cheer for a weekend focused on shopping local, connecting with the community and giving back.

This year’s Candy Cane Lane will also carry a very special meaning. Each day, the first 75 guests in attendance will receive a special gift in loving memory of longtime vendor and friend Anne Bratanich of Annzy Crafts, who passed away recently.

Anne was a wonderful part of the vendor community, and this gesture is intended to celebrate her creativity, kindness and the connections she made with so many people through the years.

Families can once again look forward to visits from Santa and the Grinch, while exploring more than 150 vendors located throughout the Fairgrounds. Guests are encouraged to make a day of it – enjoy the grounds, shop from local makers and small businesses, connect with friends and grab brunch or lunch from one of the fantastic food trucks on site.

For 2026, admission to Candy Cane Lane will once again be by donation, with proceeds supporting CFAX Santas Anonymous and its Christmas Hamper and Kids Count programs, helping local children and families throughout Greater Victoria.

“Candy Cane Lane has always been about more than Christmas shopping. It is about bringing people together, supporting local entrepreneurs and creating a place where our community can connect.

This year, we are especially proud to honour Anne while also supporting CFAX Santas Anonymous and the important work they do for families in our community.”
Come spend the day with us, discover something special, support local and help us kick off the holiday season with community at the heart of it all.
