20 Years of LEGO® Magic at the Sidney Museum
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the LEGO® Brick Exhibit at the Sidney Museum, running through March 2026. By popular demand, the Community Creations display is returning – and the museum wants your LEGO® masterpieces to shine! Community members of all ages are invited to take part in the annual LEGO® Brick Exhibition by submitting their original builds to be showcased in the museum.
A Historic Milestone for VHF At Visions Gala
The Victoria Hospitals Foundation made history in November, raising an unprecedented $3.6 million in support of expanded robotic surgery and enhanced oncology care at Victoria General Hospital (VGH) and Royal Jubilee Hospital (RJH), the primary referral centres for Vancouver Island. This landmark achievement reflects the incredible generosity and commitment of the community. These vital investments will help ensure that more patients across the Island can access cutting-edge treatments and world-class medical technology close to home, reducing travel burdens and improving health outcomes. The evening’s success marks a significant step forward in strengthening specialized care for families in building a healthier future for all Islanders.
New Business of the Month: Pho Breeze Vietnamese Restaurant
The original Sea Breeze Vietnamese Cuisine opened on February 1, 2024, and earned praise for its authentic dishes. It closed in March 2025 due to operational challenges. The same location on Fifth Street in Sidney has now reopened as Pho Breeze Vietnamese Restaurant. It features a refreshed menu combining traditional Vietnamese favourites, including pho and vermicelli bowls, with exciting new additions such as wings and Dungeness crab specials. The restaurant brings a modern twist while maintaining the authentic flavours that diners loved. Pho’s Chef brings a passion for Vietnamese cuisine, blending traditional recipes with modern presentation. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted using the finest ingredients to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

ArtSea Gallery Seasonal Pause
The ArtSea Gallery located along Sidney’s picturesque waterfront will be closed until March 5, 2026. This seasonal closure allows the gallery to refresh exhibitions and prepare for an exciting new lineup for the rest of the year.
