The annual Torquemasters Auto Extravanza takes place during the B.C. Day long weekend on Sunday August 2 and features classic cars of all makes and models.
Coinciding with this great event is an art show of paintings depicting vintage vehicles by local artist Orion. View this classic artwork at Alexander’s Coffee at 2385 Beacon Avenue from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, and 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
For your viewing pleasure, you will see paintings of Chevys, Fords, a custom 1927 engine, an antique 1908 Harley-Davidson, and other treasures to be discovered.
Admiration for historic vehicles inspires Orion to depict them with love and a fine attention to detail in respect to the same love the car owners put into their beloved rides.
She was a proud owner of 1965 and 1966 Chevy Panel trucks for 35 years. Every dollar she earns from her artwork goes toward purchasing another funky truck to transport her paintings around in style.
