A Toast to Sidney
Sidney’s Toast Café is officially under new ownership. Former owners Amy and Lisa Gray wish to extend a “cheers” to Sidney for nine wonderful years together, and assure you that they are leaving you in good hands with new owners, Elena and Paulo. It’s business as usual at Toast, located at the corner of Fifth and Bevan, so drop by and say Hi!

They will rise to any challenge, so talk to them about your next welding project, be it residential or commercial. Visit their website at www.jrmarine.ca.

Skate On!
Sidney is getting a new skateboard park! Construction of a state-of-the-art park has been approved by Sidney Council, and completion is expected in the spring of 2017. The new park, at the north end of Tulista Park, will replace the existing location adjacent to Mary Winspear. Over the course of two years, Sidney will spend an estimated $300,000 on the project, including design provided by New Line Skateparks. The Town will proceed with two major projects on the land south of Mary Winspear – a large parking lot and replacement fire hall.
