Highlighting Sidney
The Sidney Business Improvement Area Society (SBIA) has been busy with a new destination marketing campaign, the VI Circle Tour.
This is a joint campaign with the Sooke Regional Tourism Association, to promote the best of the VI Circle Route. It promotes travel to both Sidney and Sooke, targeting residents of Washington and Oregon States in the process of planning their vacations.
This is a $32,000 campaign, half of which has been subsidized by a grant from Destination BC.
The Sidney BIA seeks to attract travel writers and bloggers to our region in hopes that they will showcase Sidney as an alternate to staying in downtown Victoria.
